The South West Coastal Path passes by the door of this modern hotel, which has fantastic sunset views over the sea towards Lundy Island from many rooms, the restaurant and the pool. Quite a swish stopping off point, and you'd need to dress up a for dinner - or go out as our inspector did! Friendly service however. 25 en suite rooms from £62.50. Recommended because of the comfort, the location and the views.
