The oldest pub in Penzance dating back to 1233, and very close to the Cornish coastal path. The original pub was virtually destroyed by a Spanish raiding party in the 16th century, but the smugglers tunnel leading directly to the harbour still exists. They serve lots of seafood but also venison, stir-fries, steaks and mixed grill. Garden at the rear. Punch Taverns - Betty Stogs, 6X, Sharp's Doom Bar.
