The Room in The Elephant is our fine dining restaurant and is situated on the first floor with stunning views of Torbay. The Elephant Brasserie is situated on the ground floor and offers a Brasserie style menu in a more relaxed environment. Named 'Restaurant of the Year for the South West' in the Les Routiers in Britain awards The Elephant is now recognised as one of the top restaurants in Devon. Head chef Simon Hulstone, winner of the Roux Scholarship and to date the only British chef to win gold at the World Chef Championships in France, is supported by a talented young team of chefs. So pretty smart, and not cheap - but right on the south west coastal path on Victoria Parade - and giving walkers a good reason to favour Torquay with a visit.
