From Minehead to Porlock Weir (or Porlock)

Type of Walk
A short first walk, with some heavy climbing (up to 950ft at Selworthy Beacon), and the choice of a 'Rugged Alternative' which follows a very up-and-down route hugging the cliffs. Porlock beach is now breached and the route comes inland a little across marshy ground. The detour into Portlock provides a wider choice of overnight services.

The views from Selworthy Beacon. Pretty Bossington. Spectacular and remote Porlock Bay. The little thatched harbour/village of Porlock Weir itself.
