Right on the harbour, a 14th century thatched smugglers inn with great character in the bar and the restaurant. Shelley and Coleridge stayed here, and part of Lorna Doone was written here. There is plenty of local fish served including monkfish, scallops and crab, plus othe rlocal produce including pheasant, venison, boar and hare.
