A half mile detour inland from south west coastal path at Trebarwith Strand but highly recommended by the AA (Pick of the Pubs), this atmospheric converted mill offers first class food in the restaurant over the mill stream - Cornish venison, monk fish and Tuscan bean cassoulet - and simpler fare in the bar. Free House - Sharps Doom Bar, Sharps Special.
Also offers rooms, and owned by the proprieters of The Slipway Hotel in Port Isaac (which has a galleried seafood restaurant overlooking the harbour). These two establishments are a pleasant 5 hours coastal walk apart, and if you stay in both, the owners will transport your luggage for you.
