Into Falmouth town, then two ferries to St Mawes and then to Place. The walking from there is very pretty, around the edge of the peninsular and along gentle cliffs and beaches to Portscatho (Plume of Feathers pub).Then rolling headlands on to Portloe

Recommended because of the beauty of the walking, the fun of the ferries and the quality of the accomodation and pubs in the area.

An alternative (shorter) day starts at St Mawes (a great place for an overnight stay) and finishes at Portloe.
