Small inland detour to cross the River Otter. Then largely low cliff walking - quite different from the rugged cliffs further west. After Sidmouth the beach is easier than the cliff-top ups and downs, but only if the tide allows. Points of Interest

The cliffs of High Peak before Sidmouth, and the cliffs from there towards Branscombe Mouth. Branscombe itself. We recommend this walk because of the spectacular walking, the cliffs and the Branscombe surrounds.
