The ferry across the Avon; the climb to Thurlestone. The pretty villages at Hope. Very dramatic walking to Bolt Head. And then great views of the Salcombe estuary.
Recommended because of the fine walking and views, a good lunch break in Hope, the drama of Burgh island the night before and the attractions of staying in Salcombe. A well balanced and well paced day's walk.
